intelli silverlake. i had been looking forward to visiting this spot for years. partly because i knew their coffee was great, but also because i knew it would bring me back to spain. those spanish tiles, that outdoor area. it’s just like home.
i didn’t realize it would be so spot on though. there was rosemary at the entrance, so i slid my hand through it and drank my cortado on the patio. the combination of a cortado and the smell of rosemary made me want to melt. such a great piece of home. at the risk of sounding like ruth reichl, this made my body melt and my heart homesick for spain.
lovely all around.
